Integrated Report

As we believe that a better future for everyone demands increasingly better-quality food, we have been working, throughout the years, on the ongoing construction of an innovative way of considering the business and our contribution to society. Because of that, we have pursuing the purpose of a Better Life to the people, by offering quality food that is increasingly tastier and practical to people around the world. We do this through the sustainable management of a vivid, long and complex chain that provides everyone with a better life, from farm to fork.

As part of our maturing process and our sustainable management, in 2019, we announced the Integrated Report. BRF then presents to its employees, consumers, shareholders, investors, suppliers, clients and other partners an Integrated Report that follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards methodology along with the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) guidelines and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through these international references, we report all specific performance contents associated with each relevant business aspect, in addition to further demonstrating our corporate governance practices.

We also present the food industry indicators, our resource allocation practices, our business model and our view on the financial, intellectual, human, social, natural and physical capitals. We are continually advancing into demonstrating how each socio-environmental theme is connected with the risks and opportunities we have mapped out for the business, in addition to being balanced with financial and operating results. The indicators refer to January 1st to December 31st, 2019, for both financial and non-financial data.
